Our sizes & quality

A bigger bulb, a stronger start. A bulb’s size (its circumference in centimetres) tells you a lot about how much energy it holds for its first year. We choose firm, well-graded sizes so your bulbs get off to a strong start.

Fresh from the field

Our bulbs come from Dutch growers and are freshly lifted and checked. Healthy, dry, firm bulbs — never soft or mouldy ones.

What “size” means

Every species has its own size range. A bigger bulb isn’t always “better”, but it is stronger in the first season. Where it’s relevant, we show the size on the product.
