New only means new to our range. You plant these kinds just as easily as the familiar ones: in autumn, from September through November, and the card on the bag tells you exactly how deep and how far apart.
If you are in doubt, put one new kind next to kinds you already know. Next spring you will see straight away whether you like it, and then you know for the year after.
