Description
Cream-white with red flames and streaks, and no two flowers are identical. This is a Triumph tulip blooming in April and May. It stays compact around forty centimeters and never overshadows its neighbors. Every flower is a surprise, a different pattern.
The striped pattern recalls the old broken tulips of the seventeenth century. Here it comes from breeding, not a virus. Plant them close together in large groups so the variation really stands out. They look lovely in water too, where each specimen shows its unique marking. White and red together make a playful, striking effect in border and pot.
