Spryng Break is a Triumph tulip with a painted look. Red flames on a white-cream ground. As the flower ages, those flames fade to pink. You watch the bloom progress. Height 45 to 55 centimetres. Scented. A fine cut flower, especially because the pattern is too striking to miss. Good for pots. Not naturalizing. Plant fresh each season. This cultivar evokes the flamed tulips of the Golden Age. But without a virus: this pattern is healthy and deliberately bred.
