Description
In April and May, Double Surprise surprises you with multiple flowers per stem. Not one but six or seven on one bulb. White double-flowered with a rosy blush, peony-like, 40 to 50 centimeters tall. The name really fits.
This is clever breeding. Multi-flowered tulips give you a mini-bouquet from one bulb. Double Surprise carries that small rosy blush on the outer petals. It makes the white double flowers even softer. Plant in full sun or half shade, alone or in groups. The many flowers hold for weeks. Also used on the cut-flower market. One bulb already gives a full stem of blooms. Combine with other doubles for extra volume.
