Description
Orange to pink: no two flowers are exactly the same. Jimmy is known as an early, sturdy tulip with that warm colour tint. Triumph tulip with character.
Jimmy is a Triumph tulip with a colour gradient within one flower. From orange at the base to pink at the top. That variation in pigmentation means you never get two identical flowers. Forty-five to fifty-five centimetres, sturdy stems. Holds well against bad weather. Plant in groups so the colour differences show. Excellent cut flower. April and May. They want full sun and well-draining soil. A tulip you can watch change over multiple seasons. Not because the flower changes, but because each plant does something slightly different.
